We apply dust/scratch removal (ICE) on all color images. Other vendors do NOT provide TIFF files - we always scan to TIFF files.

Film scanning for high end amateur and professional photographers:
The saying "you get what you pay for" is true when it comes to slide scanning, and medium format scanning services. only uses Nikon 9000/8000 scanners (for all but 4x5 inch images) and uses VueScan software for all images. VueScan outperforms other large company applications (such as the latest Nikon Scan 4.0 software). Each image scanned takes longer using VueScan software, but knows from side-by-side testing with Nikon Scan software that you, the customer, will get a better image because of that extra time we spend using VueScan. How we scan

ALL images (except 4x5 inch) are scanned with Nikon 9000/8000 scanners. We do not use any bulk auto-loaders that are used by other companies for our slide scanning services (that use the Nikon 4000 or similar scanner). Auto-loaders introduce the chance of scratching your 35mm slides. We load each image individually by hand. Also, exposure settings are generated for each image - we do not 'batch' our jobs by using a single exposure setting for all images.

ALL 35mm negatives will be scanned. We no longer pick individual images from strips of negatives.

We guarantee our digital imaging quality!
You don't pay until we e-mail you back a few of your scanned images! We are so confident in our digital imaging quality that we will ship your images back to you free of charge if you are not happy with our sample scans of your images.
