About BulkSlideScanning.com: The history behind BulkSlideScanning.com actually began many years ago when a small group of photographers decided to create a digital film scanning business and provide online slide scanning and medium format scanning services to customers. A business named Imagerylab.com was created at that time. The goal of Imagerylab.com was to provide excellent, high quality film scanning services for high-end amateur and professional photographers. However, over time, it became clear that many customers wanted a budget 'bulk' 35mm slide scanning option. In order to separate the mission statement of Imagerylab.com and create a clear identity for a new bulk slide scanning business, the BulkSlideScanning.com side of the original Imagerylab.com business was created. BulkSlideScanning.com still uses the high end Nikon 8000/9000 scanners to perform all of it's scanning. However, instead of using VueScan scanning software, Nikon Scan software is used. This allows us to speed up the process it takes to scan 35mm slides (and keep our prices low), but also keeps the high standards Nikon has built into it's scanning software. All slides are still handled one at a time, separate focus and exposure settings are generated for each slide, and Nikon ICE dust/scratch removal is performed on each slide.
